| 1 Lb. | Lean ground pork |
| 1/4 Cup | Fresh White Bread Crumbs |
| 2 Tbsp. | Low-fat Milk |
| 2 Tsp. | Pure Maple Syrup |
| 2 Tsp. | Grated Orange Zest |
| 2 Tsp. | Finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley |
| 1/2 Tsp. | Sweet Paprika |
| 1/2 Tsp. | Salt |
| 1/2 Tsp. | Freshly ground Pepper |

In a bowl, copmbine all the ingredients and, using your fingers, mix well. Divide into 12 equal portions. |

Place a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Moisten your hands with water and gently pat each sausage portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick and 2 inches in diameter. Working in batches if necessary, place the patties in the pan and fry, turningonce, until cooked through and golden brown, about 5 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and keep warm until all are cooked, then serve at once. |
