| 3 Lb. | Granny Smith Apples, peeled, thinly sliced |
| 1 Tsp. | Cinnamon |
| Dash | Fresh Grated Nutmeg, (optional) |
| 3 Tbsp. | Cornstarch |
| 1 Cup | Granulated Sugar |
| 1 - 2 Tbsp. | Butter, cut into small pieces |

Place apple slices in the crockpot; stir in remaining ingredients and dot with the butter. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours, or until apples are tender but not mushy. Stir about halfway through cooking. |
