Ingredients:
2 pints
 Milk
4
 Eggs
1 Pound
 Sugar
1/2 tsp
 Vanilla
1 1/2 tsp.
 Cornstarch
2 - 4 tbsp.
 Liqueur (OPTIONAL)
250 ml
 Pear Juice or Puree or
375g
 Cut Fruit
Recipe Directions:
1.  Beat sugar and eggs until thick and creamy.
2.  Heat milk to near boiling. Mix the hot milk, vanilla and cornstarch that was dissolved in a little cold water. Add liqueur if desired.
3.  Bring mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
4.  Add egg and sugar mixture and cook over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes until a custard-like consistency is achieved.
5.  The pears may be incorporated into the custard either in the juice form or puree or cut into tiny cubes.
6.  Put mixture into freezer until icicles form, remove, beat vigorously with a wooden spoon or electric mixer and return to freezer.
