| 1/2 stick | Butter |
| 3/4 cup | Diced onions |
| 3/4 cup | Diced Celery |
| 1 tsp | Ground Sage |
| 1 3/4 cup | Water |
| 1 pkg ( 60z) | Stove top stuffing |
| 4 thick | Center-cut pork chops about 2 pounds |

In medium saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook, stirring occasinally, until softened, 8-10 minutes |

Stir in the sage and 1 3/4 cups of water. Bring to a boil and then stir in the stuffing mix. Remove the sauce pan from the heat and stand for 5 minutes. Stir the stuffing with a fork to fluff. |

Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a 13X9X2 inch baking dish. |

Cut a slit in the side of the chops to form a pocket. Stuff each chop with about 1/2 cup of the stuffing. Place the chops in prepared baking dish and spoon the remaining stuffing around the chops. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. |

Bake in the oven at 350 untill the pork chops are tender and no longer pink in the center, about 40 minutes. Remove the foil from the dish and bake another 10 minutes. Serve immediately. |
