| 3 | Granny Smith Apples, peeled, thinly sliced |
| 3 | Pears, thinly sliced |
| 1/3 Cup | Brown Sugar, firmly packed |
| 3 Tbsp. | Cornstarch |
| 2 Tbsp. | Lemon Juice |
| 1/2 Tsp. | Ground Ginger |
| 1/4 Tsp. | Ground Nutmeg |
| 1 Box | Regular or deep dish pie crusts |
| 1/4 Cup | Sugar |
| 1/2 Cup | English Toffee Baking Bits, no choco. |
| 1/2 Tsp. | Ground Cinnamon |

In a large bowl, combine apples, pears, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, ginger and nutmeg. Toss until well blended. |

Spread into lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Remove one of the pie crusts from package; reserve remaining crust for another use.Crumble frozen crust into medium bowl. |

Add granulated sugar, toffee bits, and cinnamon; toss to mix. |

Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until top is brown and juices bubble. |

Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired. |
