Ingredients:

 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, thinly sliced
3
 Pears, thinly sliced
1/3 Cup
 Brown Sugar, firmly packed
3 Tbsp.
 Cornstarch
2 Tbsp.
 Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp.
 Ground Ginger
1/4 Tsp.
 Ground Nutmeg
1 Box
 Regular or deep dish pie crusts
1/4 Cup
 Sugar
1/2 Cup
 English Toffee Baking Bits, no choco.
1/2 Tsp.
 Ground Cinnamon
Recipe Directions:
1.  In a large bowl, combine apples, pears, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, ginger and nutmeg. Toss until well blended.
2.  Spread into lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Remove one of the pie crusts from package; reserve remaining crust for another use.Crumble frozen crust into medium bowl.
3.  Add granulated sugar, toffee bits, and cinnamon; toss to mix.
4.  Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until top is brown and juices bubble.
5.  Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
